Well - although the car does need it’s brakes doing, and the timing belt, and the service/MOT, the independent garage are still cheaper than the quote i’d got for just the brakes from my local Audi Stealer Dealer. Still probably be the best part of £800 mind, but can’t have everything!
Oh - and as for the wheel - Gary at LBS was aghast, and said he’d be having a word with Madison - see if he could sort out a warranty replacement for me. In the meantime, and because i wasn’t entirely over the moon with the wheels anyway, i’ve plumped for a nice set of Fulcrum Racing 5’s.
